There is No Such Thing as a Stupid Question
7 September 2015

Do you ever hesitate to ask a question because you think it’s too simple or silly or stupid? Well don’t! As a matter of fact, a lot of famous researchers discovered great new things by asking all kinds of questions.

That’s why Edward Gomez from and and artist Laura Sorvala from , with the help of Sarah Eve Roberts, decided to make a about asking questions. The comic book is about a young, curious girl on her way to school. During her trip she learns how the ‘stupid’ questions from famous researchers led to real scientific discoveries.

“The comic book is going to accompany our education programme, particularly our partnership with  (a primary school programme in Wales, UK). A part of that programme is about empowering kids to see themselves as scientists, and the key to making that happen is to encourage them to ask questions,” says Edward Gomez.

The comic book is black and white so that it can be easily printed in schools, freely photocopied and kids can colour in the pictures.
